TNZ5UXCMS: The UXCMS is a system control, cross-connect and clock board that supports 40 Gbit/s lower order cross-connections.

The UXCMS board is a cross-connect board. It implements cross-connections of ODUk(k=0, 1, 2, 2e, flex, 3, 4)/OSUflex/VC-4/VC-3/VC-12 services and packet switching of Ethernet services.

The UXCMS board consists of the ODUk/OSUflex/VC cross-connect module, packet switching processing module, clock processing module, CPU and control module, overhead processing module, monitoring module, communication module, and power supply module.

Basic function	Grooms services, manages configurations, and reports alarms in a subrack.
Basic function	Backs up NE Data. When the data of an NE changes, the system control and communication unit immediately saves changed data to a storage medium to ensure that the NE data still exists after the NE undergoes a cold reset or power failure. This feature improves NE reliability.

Backup mode	Only support hot backup.
DCN	Supported DCN channels: outband DCN, inband DCN, ESC.

Fan alarm management	Provides 1+1 power supplies to fans, supports fan speed adjustment and fan fault detection, and manages fan alarms.
Power supply management	Supports backup power supply and detects the in-position status of the power interface board.
